anyway..been really really really busy recently..those who've seen me around in school will know..and those who haven't prob figured out for themselves huh..haha. sigh..i miss seeing mandy and cass and xian and mei and lynn and ruxin and karen and joo and even my dear neighbour debra..dun even have time to have dinner with her..bleagh. hiyoh..dunno how to update the blog..too many things to update le....
let's see..bizcom bash has just passed(BreakOut 918 - Sept 18 '04)..i was in the business committee under nus students' union..thought might be a good opportunity for me to learn some stuff about the business world. the welcome chalet was pretty fun but after that..while working on the bash, i realised that the pple are actually quite cliqish as most of them were from union camp and so, more or less knew each other. the few frens i made during the welcome chalet also conveniently went MIA during bash prep..so i kinda ended up alone :( me know nuts about marketing and they jus threw me in to die..at least give some basic training right..hiyz..and the only sponsor i got..APB (tiger beer)..dun even talk about it. think me kenna blacklisted by the pple over there..haha. all in all..can't say it was a very good experience..though i did learn some stuff and there are individuals who are pretty nice in bizcom..like zairina (hope she doesn't mind me mentioning her here..not that she'll actually read my blog..heh..) mustn't forget to say..i love my og - Reatrol!!! haha..thanks pals..so supportive..they all came to the bash to support me..alright..not all..but i know those who din turn up were there with us in spirit *ahem* haha ;) had a really good time. (p/s next yr's jam and hop must support also k?) ^______^
guess most of you know that i'll be going vietnam on a YEP trip in dec. haha..my super despo email to all my yahoo groups..for those who haven't checked their mails and jus happened to pop by to see if i'll ever get down to updating my blog..the mail was to get you guys to help buy t-shirts that we're selling for fund raising. will be going there to teach the teenagers english so that they would be better equipped to work in the city..and also to set up computers as learning aids. yupyup..so we need funds to do all these stuff. actually wasn't exactly planning to go..jus saw the ad in nussu news and emailed to get more details..the next thing i knew..i was down for an interview and thereafter, got roped in to be the treasurer..ggrrr. hope i dun lose money..broke enough already..darn..sekali get everybody stranded in vietnam. good thing the air tix's gonna be valid for a whole year so maybe can work there till we earn enough money to get make..hhmmm.... haha..crap. anyway..really need you guys to help to buy the t-shirts. $10 each only..and girls got lady's cut so dun have to worry it'll be too big yah :) website for design and colour of shirt's below..cheers!
http://www.angelfire.com/folk/ilighthn-tshirthmm..i'm presently busy with another project..Munchie Monkey Cafe. it's this cafe owned by nussu enterprise..a private company funded by nussu (hope i din get the facts wrong..haha..) came across the opportunity when i had a chance to work with the cafe during the bizcom bash thingie..haha. get a chance to see how ppl run a real business ;) hiyz..pretty worried that i've got too many commitments but think it's too good a chance to let go so i'm gonna give it a try. jus following my big boss around and learn some stuff here and there..see how things go in the future..heh. official opening's pretty soon..less than a month..haha..peeps in nus..go support leh..food's not bad and there's student price. and they've got very cute softtoys there..of course monkey lah..you know..munchie monkey cafe? hahaha..location..YIH..opposite OSA..jus beside the atm machine. can take bus A1, A2 or B. must try to get them to pay me commission for doing this.
last but not least..actually not even last..me in archery too! damn fun sia..get to shoot balloons..hahaha..but then me no strength so my arrows go projectile motion one..if not everytime sure hit the ground..bleagh. hmm..but then..projectile motion then got more style right? *grin* ;D anyway..i'm also helping out in bizad club now..FOP vice-head(freshmen orientation project). gonna be super busy next yr..sigh. hey yaya..so sorry. we talked about going back to visit huawei in aussieland before he graduates next yr right? dun think i'll be able to spare the time to go during june cos that's the prep period for orientation :( argh..i miss melbourne!!! haha..and yes..huawei..i miss you too..and your nice apartment! oh..if you ever read this and if you ever get yourself a camera, pls take some photos of your place and send to me can? didn't take any the prev time..so sad.
siao..so many commitments..as if come school dun need to study. wat to do..a lot of good chances that i dun wanna miss out on..but guess i'll be dropping out of bizcom as there's no satisfaction there. not much time to commit too and i dun think it'll be fair for the bizcommers. mid terms are coming up and final exams are not too far off too. hope i'll be able to catch up with my work. falling back in my FNA (financial accounting) and programming modules. got to work on MNO (management and organisation) video too..haha..i get to be the devil in there! thanks to junejoo for her christmas horns..hahahaa..damn cute..can light up somemore!
yupz..guess that should be all for now..hopefully i'll be able to find some time to come update soon. there's still project meeting and cafe meeting tml. better go catch some sleep now. oh yah..and to those pple who are presently overseas..clot, yulinda, jing, nic n nad, sam dear..i miss you guys!!! *hUgS*
