oh man! i'm super pissed! was nearly finishing a pretty long entry when my comp decided to take a little rest. it hung. *sheesh!* now i've gotta retype everything all over again..i'm never going to get to sleep at this rate..especially when it's way pass bed time..good thing i not working tmr :|
anyway. i was trying to get an online photo album cos wanted to share some photos with you pple..wanted to use imagestation..used to work last time but now it seems to be prompting pple to sign up as a member to see the photos..wat's the point rite? or maybe it's jus my computer. highly possible nowadays as proven by the extremely recent incident. blegh. anyone who knows of a good online album pls tell me yah? thanks :)
alright..finefine..i'm super lagging..it's been 2 nights since Cadenza but still..well done dear dear batchmates!!! we managed to pull off Phantom without any major screwups..hahaha..and of course..thank you ssoooo much to our conductor..clot!! *hugS* heyhey..i watched you k..watched till i played a couple of wrong notes somemore..oOpz. hee. wonder if that was our last performance together..i mean..come next Cadenza, all of us will be in uni..and pple like clot and yulinda will be in Indo and all the other geniuses somewhere overseas....it'll be hard to get all of us back to play :( but no matter wat, i'm really glad this Cadenza went well..haha..it's kinda nice being alumni cos we get to enjoy the fun of performing without having to worry abt all the organising stuff (and that was one time i din hafta kill any brain cells worrying whether my banner will drop off or not..remember Drive-out? hahaha...) yah..miss playing with my junior too..heh..it's nice to see that she has blossomed into such a good player..much better than me ;) she mentioned during alumni prac that she liked my nail polish so i decided to get her one for Cadenza..haha..her reaction when i gave it to her was priceless! ;) guess it's all the little things like this that makes band life so much more fun and memorable..i mean..20 years down the road, i would probably have forgotten that we played Phantom..but stuff like all the crappy things that clot did during alumni prac..all our post-alumni-aussie-discussions..singing Les Mis (presentation version) at the top of our voices, thinking that our dear juniors sang that in our honour (when the actual truth was that they were singing the Cadenza version)..the crazy cheerings after the concert, like *We love you, alumni!* (haha..finefine..i was the one who contemplated doing that..jus that i din have enough guts to actually carry it out :P)..screaming out our batch song and making a fool of ourselves..hahaha..wat lovely memories huh... sigh. i miss rgssb.
haha..my sis's back from Korea! quite funny cos i was waiting for her at the gate (it was right beside my lounge so shun bian lah..haha..)..think she din expect to see me there so she was quite surprised. she said smth like..other pple get escorted from the arrival hall and she gets escorted right at the gate..not bad ;) glad that she enjoyed herself there..but she din exactly buy anything much for me..*humph* (okie lah..the earrings she got me were very pretty..hehe..thanks min! ^____~)
before i end off....i managed to go ice-skating for the first time in my life! hahaha..it was so fun..i've always wanted to go since young but my mum was kinda paranoid and afraid i'd get my arm or leg sawed off..*eWw* i used to watch figure-skating championships a lot..and all the ice-skating shows on tv as well..all the famous skaters like Michelle Kwan, Tara Lipinski (my favourite..haha..), Kristi Yamaguchi..even Scott Hamilton who's supposed to have turned professional..could never figure out why turning professional means they can't compete in state competitions anymore. anyway, i finally got a taste of the ice..it was a pretty interesting experience..wasn't as difficult as i thought..but wasn't all that easy either..haha..not too bad as i only landed on my butt once..thanks to the railing and my colleague! (i more or less refused to let go of both..hahaha....) but hey..at least it was a slight improvement from my attempt to rollerblade in sec1 alright? i held on to jane lim for the whole 2 hrs that i rented my blades (hee..poor girl...) and to think that i din even make it out of the chalet compound..sheesh :P
k lah..think i better go sleep le..still got quite some stuff to do tmr..haha..getting quite excited abt the aussie trip but realised we've got quite little time left to finish getting ready..less than one week! gotta change money, apply for travel insurance, pack and wat not....zZzZz.........

wOah. i see there's been an invasion of my blog by my lounge colleagues..haha..silly me..forgot to clear the history after accessing my blog from the lounge comp..bleah -_-" haha..well..it's a good thing i din write anything bad abt them eh..hmm..not that there's anything bad to write about in the first place lah..hee...;)
anyway..i've cleared all my interviews! wat a relieve..haha..alright fine..it wasn't that great a deal..but everybody gets nervous when it comes to interviews right? actually i thought my usp one went pretty ok at first..i mean..the interviewers were nicer than i expected and the questions asked were pretty normal..stuff like..why did you choose to join usp, why you wanna do business and the list goes on (can always check out deb's blog for more details..hahaha..) but after i went home and thought abt the answers i gave, i realised that there were whole lot of things that i could have answered better or could have told them. think i kinda had a mental block..hiyz..guess i'm jus not cut out to handle interviews.
anyway, the usp interview was a pretty good experience cos it gave me a chance to really think about wat i wanna do in life. i realised that i dun really understand myself much and that i jus haven't exactly accomplished much in my life. although i've been pretty committed to band, i can't say i'm an outstanding musician. other than band, there hasn't been any much in my life. think i must really make good use of my uni days and try to do as much as possible. haha..maybe try stuff like going to other countries for comm service..going for obs again..though deb kinda warned me against spoiling my lovely sec3 obs experience..but still..i really miss it. haha..guess it's easy to say all these now but when i get to uni, i might be too busy..or maybe too lazy to carry them out..blegh.
hmm..i jus realised how little i blog..was trying to create my archive jus now but found out that if i go by the monthly archive, i'll only have a few entries on my page..haha..it looked too pathetic so i gave up on the archive idea. maybe i shld start learning from deb..blog so much..haha. anyway, i jus read mandy's, deb's and jing's page..i'm glad mandy has found such an interesting job..i wouldn't mind doing an attachment at a law firm too..too bad i'm still under contract..haha.. as for jing..you better go nus bizad with me! else i'll be left alone..so sad :( hmm..as for deb's blog.. goodness..of all things you had to go and reminisce about rgssb..especially with cadenza coming up tmr..that called up far too much memories . the interesting thing is that i remembered mostly the good old times and not the bad times, especially in sec4. wrote enuff for today..i'll continue another day lah..hope cadenza goes well..i miss I Will Survive..hahaha... ;)

i've got all 6 tickets with me! so scary sia..scared i'll lose them or smth..blegh. was kinda thinking of putting them in the safe but think that's a bit too ks..i gave it to mum to safekeep in the end..haha. anyway..i'm so glad i dun have to go back to chinatown anymore. the few trips down to the tour agency were more than enuff (especially since the manager of the agency pissed me off..humph.)
oh yah..i got my USP interview!!! haha..so happy..i freaked out when deb and joce got the call last week..turned out my interview's scheduled next week so i only got the call a few days ago. yupz..so my interview's on this coming monday. wish me luck!! ;) hmm..and i also got my SMU interview! hiyz..it's this coming tues..one after another..quite stressful..but i'm quite glad i get to settle them before i leave for Aust..or else i might miss their call :P yupz..that's all for now..gonna end shift in an hour. there's still combined and alumni prac later..yippie.....

hiyz..been busy with the aust trip thingy..haha..posted so much stuff on batch blog but my personal blog's super empty. obvoiusly i'm on midnight shift again..good thing there are no passengers today..haha. but i better continue with my filing..or catherine will scold, although she did say that i can do that slowly :P hmm..going to put my leave form in boss's tray later..she'd better approve cos i've already booked the air tix..think cannot refund already..sigh. kk..go work, go work...
