hehe..yesterday was so fun!! was quite sad i had to work so i kinda missed out on the whole bbq at mandy's place..but in the end i decided to go for the stayover after work..good thing my officer gave me last hr break..bless her..hehe ;) quite dumb lah..was trying to catch the last train but missed it anyway cos had to drive the buggy to charge..so in the end i took bus 36 down to orchard and had to call my sis to try figure out which bus takes me nearest to the bukit timah area. was supposed to take 174M (midnite service)..but found out it operates on fri, sat and sun only. sheesh. haha..in the end i took 111 down to bouna vista there and took a cab. hiyah..midnite surcharge damn ex so gotta save money..haha..in the end, cab fare only cost abt $8.60 *grin* ;) anyway..those darlings really saved food for me..haha..the chicken wings weren't too bad..next time must go mandy's to bbq again! oh yah..those who stayed over were actually the aussie gang..with the addition of the twins..heh..really seemed like we were somewhat back in australia *nostalgia* yupz..had a really nice chat with the gang until ard 4am..cass was drifting in and out of dreamland, the twins slept pretty early..and the rest of us were laughing at clot and her 'opportunity cost'..haha..think she'll make a really good econonmist if she doesn't become a doctor ;) we kinda slacked at mandy's place till ard 10+, 11 the next morning before going over to the twin's place to take a look. wah..their house is super pretty..there's even a grand piano..kinda reminded me a little of sam's place..hee..must go over someday! we caught a glimpse of the big house next door..with it's fengshui well and pavillion..goodness..the things they can think of..haha. well..all in all, it was a pretty fulfilling nite..i really miss having these peeps around..sigh..why does clot hafta go away.............*sob* alrite..guess that's not helping her..it's okie lah..we can always visit each other eh, clot? *hugS!*
